There were three fairly narrow parking spaces in the driveway of the property. Unfortunately, there was a huge van parked in the middle, and so I could only park half of my vehicle into a space. “overall great for the price. its a very lowkey b&b in a charming victorian era guest house. its in a decent area, nice and close to the rail station. the owners were lovely, the room had a skylight, breakfast is an option but i dont think its included depending how you book. my only criticisms is that there was what looked like splotches of mold on the slanted ceiling in the bathroom, though there was no water damage smell. the other thing was soundproofing, last i checked it was advertised as……

“Self service so expected some instructions - couldnt get tv to work. Coffee, tea n sugar provided - no milk. Kettle supplied on shelf - no plug nearby. Low light - difficult to read. However good location, warn and clean - also cheap. :)”

“The listing never said the landlord would be living on the property which we found out when we arrived. The fridge was part full with her goods so we didn’t have as much space for our own food. The whole place had terrible cleanliness, the floors were sticky and one bathrooms shower door was broken. None of the pillows had pillow protectors and beddings weren’t ironed, fluff and hair was found on the bed on arrival. There was also no spare keys for the bedroom doors and when we contacted the……

“Found it very hard to get into property had to call operator a number of times for help, then could not get into flat again needed assistance. Flat door would not lock in the mornings as code would not work so had to take my luggage with me every morning, ( 3 days ) would not stay here again. ”
