斯里兰卡的野营房简易旅馆

“We spoilt ourselves with 2 nights in Ahas Pokuna. This is a truly special place. Greeted at the road side by Arun our naturalist guide we were immediately enveloped in the forest following a footpath (truly the only access) leading us up the the very exclusive camp. We were the only guest and had the middle of three tent suites/tree houses. The beautifully maintained grounds of the camp are full of birds and the staff are always attentive. The food is excellent and plentiful. Arun was delightful……

“We really enjoyed our 2 night stay, rooms were spacious and nicely appointed. We enjoyed the pool and the safaris organized by the lodge, who supplies rangers in addition to drivers in the safari vehicles. We opted to add an optional safari to increase our chances of seeing the elephants and leopards. Excellent staff, Sasha was very helpful, Venura in the restaurant was great and so was our Ranger Amida. ”

“Great place to feel at one with nature. Fairly basic but that added to the charm. Loved it!”

“很特殊的體驗，在sri lanka享受有如在非洲的感覺。Manager 行前介紹很詳盡，Full board的安排讓我們能完全體驗在帳篷與營地的氣氛。 晚上的營火晚宴令人印象深刻，大家圍著營火靜靜的與自己同伴吃著晚餐。早晨的 Udawalawe Safari 園區內也提供經驗豐富且努力讓我們看到動物的嚮導，直接從園區出發省去了接駁浪費的時間。 看完了大象，回營地整裝check out 的時候，竟然讓我們看到雌雄一對的孔雀從我們帳蓬門口經過。即使洗澡設備畢竟是在營地，無法如旅館般完善，但是也很舒適了。床很軟，晚上伴著星星與蟲鳴入眠。在這裡我跟我同伴都留下了美好的回憶”

“豪華的帳篷我們住的是4人家庭房，床舖房間潔淨，有熱水洗澡，整個帳篷只有2枝用電的燈及風扇，晚上開風扇已足夠，偶然會停電，必須點蠟燭。 服務和食物都非常棒”

“It's definitely not a luxury camping experience. The facility is not clean and food is so so. It's not worth for the money we spent. The most serious problem is getting contact with the camp. We want to do a full day safari and we tried all means to contact the hotel - email/phone/whatsapp/hotels.com link but there's no reply. We end up arranging safari through our driver. It's quite disappointing.”

“The beauty of this accommodation is not enough to describe in any language. After the sun sets, we went to dinner in woods which is guided by a glimpse of oil lamps. This is the most romantic dinner I have ever had. People also super nice here.”

“From start to finish the staff made our trip perfect. Incredibly friendly, attentive, always looking to do something a little extra to make your stay unforgettable. Incredible food and accommodation (with hot running water and full comfort!) in a romantic setting surrounded by nature, private safaris in stunning Yala National Park led by guides who are passionate about the animals in the park - we saw countless birds, water buffalo, lizards, a wild boar family, even a sloth bear!”

“This is a primitive camping site. Yes the tent is large and there is an outdoor toilet and shower which is delightful but this is still just a camp site. No other facilities. There is no A/C and it can get quite hot in the tent. We had a wonderful candle lit dinner by the chef who also lit us a fire which was beautiful under the stars. Some holes in the tent need to be fixed due to mosquitos. ”

“På ingen måder pengene værd. “Luksusteltet” var. Meget slidt, der lugtede meget grimt. Der kom en tynd stråle koldt vand ud af bruseren, ingen toiletartikler. Maden var det kedeligste vi har fået på alle 3 uger. Vi så en elefant, et par vandbøfler og en ugle på en 7-timers Safari. (I Yale nationalpark så vi Bjørn, 2 leoparder, elefanter, masser af vandbøfler og en krokodille på 3 timer) Alt i alt spild af penge!”

“I am not sure that it exist. We could not find it. The guideline was wrong. No one answered the telephone. We contacted Hotels.com. They could not get in touch with Yala Wilderness Safari Camp. They tried to cancel it for us, but Yala Wilderness could not care and invoiced us anyway. Stay away from this accommandation. Hotels.com should not include them, with such a non-existing guideline to find the location and when they don´t answer their phones, then what should on do ?”

“This property is actually non existenting and a scam. No such property exists. Can not reach the hotel by phone number given. Expedia has not followed this up in a timely manner and we are awaiting a refund of our money.”
