“Lovely hotel in a lovely location. Couldn’t ask for more in any way. Food was lovely.”

“Lovely stay in centre of village . Room was comfy and spotless with all expected ammenites , Only snag was our view was a wall and not the gorgeous views offered elsewhere. Breakfast was tasty but heads up its a hot / cold buffet . Car parking on site is practically impossible but main seahouses carpark just over the road at a cost of 10 pound for 24 hours . This we learnt could be refunded at hotel if you give in your ticket but as required parking up after leaving carpark was a hassel so……

“Beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Our room was stunning with a great view of the garden complete with baby rabbits munching on the flowers. Food was great and so was the service. The grounds are lovely for a walk.”

“The staff from reception through to the catering and cleaning were excellent. Food is fantastic, Breakfast great. The décor and condition was 5 star and looked to be continuously maintained ”

“Pub was great, food was excellent. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room, Senna Cove was very comfortable, shower fantastic and bed really comfy. The photo on the website is possibly a wee bit out of date. Pub really welcomes dogs, ours was very well catered for and loved his sausages for breakfast. Pub would benefit from having a bin for used poo bags. There are none around. Overall a great experience and we would definitely return ”

“I travelled up from London and needed somewhere to stay close to Bamburgh castle. I booked Purdy Lodge. It was close to everywhere I wanted to visit. The hotel is lovely and clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with lovely views of the countryside and Bamburgh castle. The food in the restaurant was amazing. I have no complaints at all with my stay at Purdy Lodge and will definitely stay again the next time I come to Bamburgh. ”

Really friendly hosts nothing was too much trouble and one of the best breakfasts we have ever had. EV charging is not a problem either. All in all, perfect hosts and a perfect weekend break.”
