“3 night stay to attend the Air Show. Apartment was clean and comfortable with everything we needed, including parking. Located in a nice, quiet area, close to the beach. Shops, restaurants and Low Green for the air display were all within easy walking distance. Fab weekend, would definitely stay again. Thanks!”

En-suite shower thermostat was temperamental. Visited Culzean, Turnberry hotel for spa and afternoon tea. Local pub/restaurants such as Souter’s, Wildings, Balkenna, Anchorage in Dunure, Saffy’s and Wellingtons in Ayr. Coop in Maybole and Asda in Girvan useful for provisions. Clare very responsive and……

“Enjoyed the weekend at Wauchope Cottage. Perfect location to explore the coast and Galloway forest area of SW Scotland. House is super clean and much more room than we expected. The grounds are gorgeous and we loved walking around. It would be nice if there was an opportunity to visit the castle to see the inside. This is a fairly remote property, so be prepared to drive to anything you need. But so quiet and peaceful.”
