"Wonderful spa, very good breakfast, very decorative hotel.
Only negative is lack of sound proofing.. you hear literally everything from the corridor, doors opening and closing, guests talking, room service.. difficult to sleep after 7am."
"Really lovely hotel to stay in, staff were great - always helpful. Comfortable bedroom with view of the lake from the balcony and the view from the Skybar was spectacular. Lovely dinner options in the main restaurant too."
"I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The staff actually came out to our car to greet us and took our luggage directly to the room. We were welcomed very warmly. The staff all spoke perfect English, which I certainly don't expect when I travel abroad but it makes the stay much easier. We had a wonderful dinner and their restaurant that night and the second night we ate at a restaurant day recommended it was also excellent. We didn't lift a finger. The staff arranged for us to take a...
"The property was in a good area and the staff were warm, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good as was the evening meal. It was excellent value for money."
"We were not expecting this beautiful hotel directly across the street from the lake. The place was out of a different era and provided a very memorable experience."
"We had a five night stay at the Lido La Perla having planned to spend some time on Lake Maggiore during our month holiday.
It is a very nice hotel, well located near the lake foreshore with excellent access to the boating transport needed to visit the many sights on the lake.
The hotel staff were very caring, the breakfast was vast and very fresh food, the room was well serviced with clean towels and linen each day and the bathroom was very good although having to step into the bath to shower is...

The staff arranged for us to take a boat out on the lake, answered all of our questions, they really went above and beyond. We're going back next year and staying in the same hotel. On a scale of 1 to 10 I give them an 11!"

Hotel with lovely surrounds and handy to the lake.
"We had a five night stay at the Lido La Perla having planned to spend some time on Lake Maggiore during our month holiday.

The hotel staff were very caring, the breakfast was vast and very fresh food, the room was well serviced with clean towels and linen each day and the bathroom was very good although having to step into the bath to shower is a possible hazard for elderly or informed guests.
The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the main town of Stresa so dining opportunities were limited but we used the nearby which was very good with a great view of the lake and a good menu. A taxi is required to get to and from the hotel if travelling by train. A couple of negatives are there was no fridge in our room ( forget having cold drinks available in your room) , there was no tea/ coffee making facilities and the tv could only be tuned to non English speaking stations.
The hotel’s gardens are quite spectacular with large flowering hydrangeas and indoor there was a pool and very good couch areas to rest.
Overall very good but a bit overpriced."
