“We had an amazingly chill and peaceful weekend. It was a nice short getaway for my family. We played the games provided as well as others that we brought. The fireplace brought us all together and we enjoyed the time with each other at night. Beds were comfortable, clean and inviting. The game room downstairs was a hit with the kids.”

In total we had 10 adults, and 7 kids ranging from 1-16.(total of 5 families) We had more than enough space and never felt over crowded, but always felt close enough to be able to be together! My only complaint is it was not the cleanest. The view is great and the house is directly across the road from the pedestrian beach access- perfect for going to the beach. The interior of the home is gorgeous and updated and very clean. “We have no complaints, it was a beautiful, new, very clean, comfortable home. Room for my family of 8 including grown children and grandkids. Plenty of room for us all. Nice deck and downstairs to relax and spend family time. The house is not on the beach side of the highway so we had to walk quite a distance across the highway with our grankids to the beach access. Though it sits center in a neighborhood, we felt that privacy was adequate and enjoyed the fenced in yard and privacy gate……

Only thing we were not keen on was the water smelled quite badly of sulphur. I believe this is a known problem in Surfside. Would definitely stay again!”

“First of all, the house is about a 1 minute walk to the beach, which was such a time saver. It gave us so much more time to spend at the beach instead of commuting. The house was very clean and welcoming. The decor was super cute and beachy. It was stocked with games and books and there is free wifi, which is always appreciated. “The property was a tad outdated. We arrived after 9 p.m. The email with the code for entry was never received and we had to wait a bit for the owner to reply due to the late arrival time. Only 1 bathroom and it is very small which was fine for us but could pose an issue for larger groups. Our sheets and pillow cases smelled like mildew, like the cleaning people left them in the washer for a day before drying. I checked the laundry on the porch and those sheets smelled bad too. “Property budget friendly and close to beach access. That’s all, accommodations very poor, maintenance is non existent for accommodations meaning poorly maintained property in every aspect. But- if you want a cheap(er) place to stay and don’t care or expect even the minimum of comfort. This is your place. Cheap, musty, dirty and unkempt, but not and I repeat NOT bug infested, a/c works and Doninoes delivers here!”
