Do not stay in Room 126 on Friday morning if you want to sleep past 5:45. That's when we discovered the motel's garbage bin was literally against the wall of our room -- we thought something had run into our wall when the garbage truck picked it up and dropped it down literally next to our heads.
Otherwise, the room was clean and the bed comfy. But they only provide 2 pillows, not enough to prop up in bed comfortably to read or watch TV. The towels are thin. We would've liked to have a table with two chairs to eat at together or to play cards, instead of the big easy chair and a desk chair. (Why are motels always set up for just one traveler on business, and not for couples?! ). The satellite TV did not work. But the check-in clerk was very nice.
The continental breakfast was the most pathetic of any hotel/motel that offers "continental breakfast." The coffee was good but that's the only positive. They had instant oatmeal, 2 types of cold cereal, milk, super sweet snack bars, apples, and yogurt that tasted like cardboard (the third ingredient was cornstarch, no wonder). A hard-boiled egg would've made a nice difference, along with better quality yogurt. We've stayed here 3 times because they accept pets, but aren't sure we'll bother again simply because the breakfast is so awful and the towels underwhelming. Other hotels charge the same and offer better food, more pillows and thicker towels.
