“Came to Bakersfield for a family party. The house was awesome!!! We will rent again. We stay in houses as we like to gather and cook. The kitchen was minimally stocked. One small fry pan and small stock pot was a challenge but we made it work. I now build a “vacation tub” that I put what I need. We ran to store for showering soap and kurig pods but overall great stay!”

“The house was lovely backyard is beautiful house was very clean spacious,master bed room and bathroom very nice size, could use some room darking curtains 😀,neighbors are nice. We were there for a carshow so they took pictures of cars very well stocked with extra towels, pillows, blankets.”

“We very much enjoyed our stay. It is an older cabin and the cleaning could have been a bit more thourough but otherwise the space and location were wonderful. We loved the host. She was very responsive and communicative ♥️”

“What a nice place to relax. Pool is clean. Master bedroom is comfy. Great kitchen but the cooking utensils were a bit on the bare side. Overall just a great place”

“The home was nice and clean. Yard was beautiful. Just a few minor things such as not having an adequate amount of toilet paper for a week long stay, no dishwasher soap, no laundry soap, no paper towels, no hand soap in the bathrooms. That created us having to go shopping immediately when we got to town. The dryer only heated but did not rotate. And a little disappointed in being woke up at seven in the morning, one day with the yard crew. Other than that it was great.”

“Four friends met at the Mayor’s House to vacay together. It was very relaxing and beautiful. Cleaning crew was still there upon our arrival after 4 pm but left shortly thereafter. They advised the vacuum cleaner broke, so we swept the house each day. Having a washer and dryer was great. We planned ahead and brought our own laundry soap and dryer sheets as none was provided. Living room furniture is feather stuffed and we saw the occasional floating feather here and there. Couches and……

“Exactly what was advertised. Jesse, the property manager, was super responsive to questions about how to operate appliances and other minor informational needs. Plan to rent the house again.”

“Beautiful home. Well maintained. Fully stocked with most everything you could want (although oddly short on coffee mugs and wine glasses). Plenty of room to spread out. Probably ideal for young kids as there were 5 or 6 twin beds or bunk beds. Master suite was excellent. Nice pool and jacuzzi (although the jacuzzi was under repair while we were there). Good communication with Jonathan. We would stay here again for sure.”

“We where unhappy with the home Friday night we notice there was no hot water to shower we notify the property owner he responded he would get someone in the morning. In the morning we had to men walk in through the backyard and just to fix something with the pool. The warm water got fixed at 1pm which the reason i booked was cause i had an event to be at 230pm so we had to take cold showers. The next morning before checking out we tried to shower and same no more warm water but didn't bother……
