“We spent 5 days over Christmas at the cottage and had a lovely time. Its charming and quirky, and the kids were thrilled with everything there was to explore. It’s definitely on the rustic side and possibly in need of some tlc here and there in the near future, but nothing to worry about at this stage. Dan was very responsive and friendly. I don’t get the impression he’s there all that often and I think it’s the kind of place that could do with an owner stay/assessment from time to time to make……

“Kids (and parents) had an amazing time. Everything we needed was on site. The availability of water “toys”…SUPs, kayaks, canoes….was amazing. The kids were a little disappointed that there was no beach for them (the online picture showed a beach); but this may have been due to higher water levels. We took them to a beach in Algonquin Park for a day to play. Overall a great stay at a very nice cottage. If we decide to VRBO in the area again we will definitely go back!!”

“It was just what we were looking for. Quiet, cozy, off the beaten path, somewhat rustic, and comfortable. The wood stove added a lot to the ambiance.”

“A lovely 3 bedroom cottage. Sunny and bright. Comfortable beds. Fully equipped kitchen and gas bbq on the sun deck. Sun deck with lovely views. Lots of nearby cottages but they are nearly invisible from the property. Nearest full grocery store about 30 min drive along paved roads. Snack store/milk etc about 20 minutes. Accèss to the water from the cottage is by uneven/natural steps with a handrail. We were allowed use of kayaks canoe and SUP. Adult life jackets were available. The water is……
