“I LOVED the Sunrise cabin! It was camping but with a few amenities that made the experience much better than sleeping in a tent. Very peaceful and quiet and only a 10 minute walk to Lake Superior. The showers in the lodge were an added bonus. I definitely will be back and have already shared with friends, encouraging them to check out this awesome place!”

“We were able to go out to eat at some fun restaurants for supper each night. At the same time, we felt as though we were hours away from the hustle and bustle. Nature was all around, yet conveniences kept everything hassle free! We will recommend this get-away to friends and family. We will definitely come back multiple times.”

“My husband and I loved everything about this cabin. It is private up on a hill with a gorgeous view yet close to many things. The cabin is of excellent design and every aspect works perfectly. I loved the barn doors on the master bedroom that we could close in the morning when I got up earlier than my husband to make coffee. Most A frame designs leave the loft bedroom open to all of the noises of the kitchen but not this cabin. I also loved looking out over the lake while soaking in the copper……

“Overall, our stay was enjoyable! The cabin is super cute and stocked with all of the necessities, bonus bathroom products in the shower. It was very easy to get in and out of as it is off hwy 61 however you could hear the traffic into the night and early AM. If noise is an issue while sleeping, I would suggest a fan or noise machine. It was really nice to have multiple king beds - both are very firm. We appreciated having a blow up air mattress available. The sauna is wonderful for relaxing……

“Just stayed for the weekend after some Birkie spectating on Friday, so it was all about the chill. And this place was great for that. It's a good winter stay (especially with the wood sauna), but with the beach, the location and the equipment provided, I'll need to go back for a summer visit soon.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our time here! Decided last minute to take the kids to the north shore for the fall colors. So happy I found this gem! Definitely could have used more time so that we could have enjoyed the property and the lake more! Would definitely stay again.”

“There were “oohs” and “aah’s” when we first entered the main cabin. The kitchen and it’s amenities were amazing! We were 8 seniors who came to the North Shore for 1 1/2 days of non-ending bridge playing. The weather was horrible, but we didn’t mind a bit; we had plenty of food & beverages to keep us happy for the two days we were there. The guest cabin was “cute”, but much older than the main cabin. Guests didn’t “love” it and used it only for sleeping. The 2nd floor bathroom was awkward as we……

“This worked perfect for our family and our stay, especially with our hound along for the ride. We’d like to return in the summer months to better be able to explore the trails. The one difficulty was the lack of heater in the cabin necessitating use of space heaters. While the cabin remained warm enough I was under the impression there was more centralized heating. Other than that we had no issues and really enjoyed our stay!”

“We had a great getaway with our toddler and baby. The house was very clean and set up great for us. Sandy even had a pack and play that she had all set up and ready to go for us. We especially appreciated all of the toys and books!”

“Group of seven high school women friends celebrated our 75th birthday by spending four nights at this wonderful lake home on Lake Superior. Of course we would have had a wonderful time wherever we landed, but this rental was perfect in every way for our group. The lake views were stunning, the inside was warm and welcoming, and and the location was a great jumping off point for exploring the North Shore. The home was clean and very well equipped for cooking, playing games or relaxing and reading……
