“This cabin was just what we were looking for! Beautiful views, lots and LOTS of space to run around, easy access to trails and so peaceful. We took the advice of the guide and visited Chet’s Place for dinner and visited the nearby lake. Both were great. My family and I had the most wonderful time and would love to return! 10/10 - would recommend!”

“Regina's home was perfect for our family's ski getaway. Plenty of space, very clean with lots of fun amenities. Toiletries and kitchen had everything we needed. The lake view is awesome, especially when you're relaxing in a hot tub. Regina was very responsive when we had questions and accommodating when a snow storm delayed our departure. Games, chairs/seats, and baby gates for the toddlers, all in great shape! With only a 10 minute drive to charming (and still non-corporate) Elk Mountain, it's……

“Great place to stay. Cannot get any closer to Elk Mountain. Fireplace kept us warm. Beautiful home inside and out. The host left so many condiments (bottle of wine, etc.). Only downside was the strange showers & was very muddy due to the weather, not the hosts' fault of course. Dennis H”

“Sean, We had the best year of fishing in over a decade. The property is awesome, and access to the water is easy. One silly item would be more hooks on the wall to hang clothing. Also, I wasn't sure how to turn on the baseboard heater in the bedroom. I turned on the bathroom and left the door open.”

“We had an amazing weekend. The house is a bit outdated, but we were there to be outside. There is another rental connected to the A-frame. The walls are very thin, but we didn't mind at all. (We're used to the loud city). They have their own fire pit and outdoor section in the back yard. The A-Frame has the huge fire pit and seating area in the front.There's anything you need within a 10 min drive(groceries, alcohol, restaurants, etc.) Main St was super cute,we strolled around to look at the……

“We had the BEST experience!! Leah was extremely helpful!! It has great amenities if ur looking to stay and enjoy each others company without having to entertain anybody. There’s a great playroom with tons of toys for the babies and toddlers , loads of activities for teens and adults and a great pool to swim or just sunbathe!!! Would definitely consider going again!! The only issue we had were the mattress es, it’s not so comfortable….”

“Our good friends daughter was getting married at the Fern Hall Estate and we did not like the hotel options provided. We couldn’t have had a better weekend. The house is bigger and better than the listing shows. We were a party of 8 adults and a 1 year old and theee was plenty of room for all. The house was furnished beautifully.”

“This was such a great house for our girls weekend. Check in process with the home owner was so smooth. House felt clean, safe, and you can tell the owner puts great care into her guests. Such good communication. You feel like you are in the middle of the woods. The lake is beautiful! Highly recommend this spot. The only snafoo is that gate check in process was pretty strick so make sure your registration isn't expired!!”

“We are a group of college friends who have been getting together for over forty years. We’ve stayed at a variety of places over the years and now, with 3 generations attending, we need larger accommodations. I think we’ve found our place. Lovely setting. Clean, comfortable rooms. Plenty of bathrooms! We had perfect weather but even if there were rain, the front veranda offers lots of space to hang out. (A few rocking chairs would be nice for the babies and grandparents.) “Need a place to stay while my daughter and I attended a camp nearby. the location was convenient to town and there were perks to the apartment including a pool, it was rather dirty. Lots of insects (not because it was in the mountains but because of caretaking). It was rather dirty, enough that my kids commented on that. It also had some rather easy repairs that were needed yet left undone. The apartment smelled of weed in certain areas which was a turnoff.”
