“The property was gorgeous! The room was large and the bathroom updated. Staff were really helpful and the food was very good. It IS very remote so if you are going as a destination to really use the amenities-golf course, pool, spa, etc., it was great. We had hoped to use it as a base to travel out from but the roads were so narrow and rather treacherous getting in, we didn’t feel like driving back and forth to other locations in Devon and Cornwall, which was too bad. ”

“Very welcoming reception. Room comfortable and clean. Good bed. The old inn buildings historical and interesting and charming. Lovely pub bar with little beer garden in the courtyard. Could offer more variety of beers and nicer wine glasses to up the pleasure of using the bar. ”

“Wir waren sehr positiv überrascht. Das Hotel hat ein sehr, sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis! Alles war tiptop. Das Zimmer war sehr gross mit einem gut funktionierendem Bad, das Bett sehr bequem mit bequemen Kissen. Es hatte genügend Platz um unsere beiden Koffer offen hinzulegen. Es hatte genügend Kaffee, Tee mit Cookies. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und lecker. Das ganze Hotel ist sehr schön gestaltet und offenbar neu renoviert. Es hatte genügend Parkplätze und die Innenstadt war zu Fuss……

“Strange checkin process, reception is at the Hub not in the Hotel, I may have missed communication on this but a lot of walking about just to check in Car chargers need bettering, current type have no instructions and no staff (5 of them) knew how they worked or more importantly released the cable!”
