"My boyfriend and I stayed at Pocket for several days while visiting Kyoto. It is located in such a convenient area (walkable distance to Nishiki and transit). The property itself is clean and the staff are so friendly and helpful! It is definitely worth staying here for the price! The only complaint I have come from the other foreigners/tourists. Please be respectful of the space especially when maintaining cleanliness as this is a shared space. Otherwise, I’d definitely recommend Pocket hotel! "

"Excellent hosts. Rooms very clean and well maintained. You need to be comfortable sleeping on tatami mat floor on a futon but it was part of the experience in visiting Japan for us.
