"My family came to Round Lake to Celebrate our Sailor’s Boot Camp Graduation. We had an amazing time fishing, boating, kayaking, bbqing and even a rainy day inside. There was so much to do without having to go anywhere, which is exactly what our Sailor wanted to do. He even invited his new buddy and his family over for a bbq and they were both able to just relax! If ever we decided to come back to visit the area, we would definitely stay here again!"

"No buffet breakfast like it used to"

"We had a group of 9 stay (6 adults, 3 kids). Everyone had a clean, comfortable bed to sleep in and the spaces in the home were divided up well so that people could have separate hang out spaces. The communal areas were all big enough that we could all comfortably gather and spend time together. We arrived past dark for check-in, so the first morning we woke up and saw the view out the large picture window in the main room, we were amazed. It was a beautiful view of the lake. The back porch was perfect to relax and catch up with our friends. Everything was incredibly clean and the check-out duties were quick and easy. We’re grateful to have such a wonderful setting to reconnect and relax with friends!"

"My family traveled to the area for my son's Navy Bootcamp Graduation. Because of the nature of our trip, it was hard to pinpoint accurate vacation dates until just days before arrival. Our host was extremely accommodating and was able to make adjustments to our reservations. They also responded quickly to all questions and requests from us. We especially appreciate the quick response when we realized we accidentally left my husbands medications! The host arranged for us to access the property once again to retrieve our belongings even though it clearly states to remove all personal belongings when checking out (still giving husband a hard time 😉) The property was clean, quiet, comfortable and relaxing for everyone. We had evey thing we needed/wanted. I walked the neighborhood in the morning and felt very safe. It exceeded our expectations and was a great value for the money. We will definitely stay again when we visit the Chicago area. Thank You for everything Great Lake Advenures!"

"Our stay was quiet and cozy for our new Navy graduate fresh from bootcamp. It was important to her to have a nice low key stay without a lot of activity surrounding her. We were even able to extend one more day to be able to spend extra time with her."

"We stayed over the weekend to attend family events. The location is very near where we needed it to be. If you are here to go to Six Flags or Great Lakes Naval Base. You should be good as it’s about 20 minutes out. Quiet neighborhood"
