“Staff were so nice- especially Anna! All staff were so accommodating and helped us with whatever we needed. Beautiful place to stay at. Personally wouldn’t recommend over 3 or 4 nights in colder weather as it does get a little hard to figure out plans. ”

“My wife and I spent two nights with Andy & Pip at the lodge at the start of our New Zealand vacation. They were great hosts, picked us up at the ferry dock, helped guide us with local transportation options (take advantage of the bus system to the local wineries) and Pip provided a wonderful breakfast that was a highlight of our visit. The lodge is in a beautiful quiet area of Waiheke and convenient to beaches, restaurants and wineries. We couldn’t get over how serene the area is. Perfect……

“Die Buffalo Lodge in Coromandel ist durch einen kurzen Fahrweg auf einem Hügel gelegen erreichbar. Der Ausblick ist sensationell, was durch die sehr großen Fenster in den Zimmern und den öffentlichen Bereichen sowie durch die Terasse noch imposanter wird. Das Zimmer (Premium-Doppelzimmer) war sehr groß und mit einem guten Bett. Bad mit Dusche war auch gut. Wichtig für den Sommer: Es gibt keine Klimaanlage. Das Frühstück wurde frisch zur gewünschten Zeit zubereitet und war sehr gut, mit……

“This was our 3rd visit to Waiheke and first time staying in the Palm beach area. It is an excellent central location with an easy walk down to the beach. The unit was clean and well equipped though starting to show signs of wear. Same can be said for the resort itself. I was excited to learn there was a mini putt course but it clearly had not been kept up so was not enticed to play. Overall an enjoyable spot to chill for a few days.”
