“My wife and I met in North Carolina and we decided to take a trip back before our first child was born. We were impressed with our stay on how roomy the place felt and how peaceful it was sitting outside. I have already recommenced the Lilly Pad to my friends and family to visit!”

“The place was nice and located in a nice area with a designated parking spot right next to the front door. The issues were in regard to the access code which did not work upon arrival. Communication with the host was difficult becasue they were out of the country at the time of check-in. Had the door code and arrival communication with hosdt had been better I would have given everything five stars. I will say if I had to do it over I would ensure a secondary door code was provided in case there……

“The house was beautiful. But trash was left in the garage and really smelled. Not a nice welcoming. The tub in the bed down stairs did not work. Dirty dishes left in dishwasher. The lights around the pool did not work. So pool area was pitch balck at night.”

“My son lives in Hempstead so we were looking for something close to him. This was the perfect place! There are three close grocery stores near by and a fourth 2.5 down the road. Beach is 2 min away by car, plenty of restaurants close by too! We will stay here again when we come back to visit …. If it’s available! The host was super easy to get a hold of and communication with her was great!”

“First let me say the host, Justin was a very responsive nice person to communicate with. This property is truly unique. Every room is filled with antiques. My husband and I being in our late 60's could relate to the furnishings within the home. The home sits on a quiet street. We felt safe and secure in the neighborhood. It is about 2 miles from Topsail which is over a long bridge to the beach and ocean area. The home sits on an inlet area. We enjoyed the herons and egrets. The master……

“Seven of us stayed at this amazing 3-story townhouse for my niece's graduation. My in-laws stayed on the 3rd floor King bedroom with my uncle in-law occupying the queen sized bed. My husband and myself stayed on the main floor with the sofa bed, and our teenagers stayed in the basement with the bunk beds. There was ample space and 3 full baths as well as 2 portable cots. “We built a house nearby and needed a place to stay for 11 days between homes. This cottage is clean and comfortable. I felt safe walking my dog alone at night. My only complaint is the sheets must have shrunk in the wash and kept slipping off the mattress while sleeping. Would definitely stay again!”
