11am check in start time, the hotel states... Yet at 8pm, with 2 young kids... Room not ready. I put notes requesting a crib and sheets for the pull-out sofa bed. Then, I called day before arrival, and the front desk told me the stuff would not only be in our room, but it would be set up and ready to go for us. Well, we arrived, and nothing was ready. No crib or sheets even in the room for us. Not even enough towels in the bathroom for all of us. Tried calling the front desk and housekeeping... No one answers. My husband went down to the desk to request all of the stuff an hour ago. Nearing 9pm, we are still waiting. My kids are so tired, and they can't go to bed. And half of the elevators in the building are closed off. So, traveling with a stroller, it was super difficult because the elevators go to different sections of the building. 1 elevator for hotel only. Another for parking garage in hotel. No signs. This trip has been a mess. To say I'm upset is an understatement. Because I can't put my baby to bed, my other kid is missing out on the pool because are are literally waiting for the crib and stuff we don't have. He literally waited all day for the pool. With a hotel like Embassy Suites, I def anticipated a nicer stay. $200 a night.... You'd sure think so. Oh, and the room isn't even clean. The bathroom had hair in it, dust all over the vanity.... The floor is dirty. I will definitely have to consider a different hotel in the future.
