“It was cold early April. At night around 29 degrees, but up to 65 in the sunny afternoon. We were two couples and a dad with an 11 year old, which was an awkward fit for the space. The 11 year old was very happy with the small porch room with the day bed. The 56 year old dad tolerated the small upstairs room that was the gateway to the huge attic bedroom, where I and my partner slept. You do have to trek though that room and down stairs a way to the bathroom. There isn't heating up there that we……

“Neat little place, close to everything. There is a small issue of tiny ants in kitchen...Parked in driveway, but could have used the garage if we wanted. Neighborhood nice, all well kept homes. Very old house that makes it charming.”

“We were a group of 8 friends celebrating our 80th birthdays and 60 years in nursing where we all met. This place was as it was pictured on the website. The views of the lake from every room and great sunsets. The air was on in the house when we arrived and the weather was very chilly. CalledJanelle and she immediately raised the temperature and made it very comfortable for us. We had so much fun playing games, visiting the state park and we even took a small trip to New York. “House was cute, clean and in a quiet neighborhood. We had everything we needed. I especially liked the fluffy towels. Only about 2.5 miles to the graduation and 15 minutes to Presque Isle for a picnic. Games and coloring things for kids. We didn’t use them but I bet families with kids love that extra. Wish we had more time to explore the area. Maybe again…”

“The house is listed as a mansion. It did not meet my impression of a mansion. It is beautif on the inside but needs some updates. The space for the kids and all the different areas was great. The grounds were under repair and there was no private outdoor space. We did not realize, but there was no bathtub. The property manager was wonderful.”

The size and layout of the place was perfect since at the time of booking I wasn't sure how many people we'd have. Everything we needed was there and the place was clean and easy to settle into. The location right on the shore was exactly what we wanted but I wish we could have walked further on the shore in each direction. The fire ring was great in the evenings. “We traveled to Erie for the funeral of a family member. The location was good and the accomodations met our needs overall. The lack of an ironing board was inconvenient. Had there been one we would not have had to bring all of our clothing to the home of another family member to iron. Also, it would have been helpful to have had a sink stopper in the kitchen sink.”

“A charming place to stay. We were at a drift event at Lake Erie Speedway (15min drive) so it was very convenient & quiet after a noisy day at the track. My granddaughter enjoyed seeing all the wildlife including a bald eagle.”
