"I was looking for a place to take my 85 year old mother and 80 year old aunt to see a total eclipse. This place was perfect. Everything was accessible, no tub wall to step over, no stairs inside or out. Bench outside to sit and watch the water and sky. Relatively flat road to walk for some exercise. "Beautiful little cottage with fabulous decor that makes you feel like your in a luxury hotel! Comfortable beds, gorgeous linens and towels, etc. They've thought of everything you'll need for a nice lake adventure: from kayaks, chairs for the campfire, outdoor lounging and eating, charcoal grills, a beautiful sturdy dock for a boat and stable decking among the rocky ledges. We had one small drain issue with the shower, but the hosts were very responsive and sent someone out to fix it the next...

"Linda’s hospitality was amazing. We had a fantastic experience. We very much appreciated being guided in to the dock as we arrived to avoid shoals. The assistance getting our luggage to the house was so helpful. We enjoyed much of the island, walking and biking. Our large family felt very at home. There was plenty of room and the house has so much charm and character. Everyone we ran into knew the house and spoke so kindly of the family. We can’t wait to go back."
