“it is in the old town center and just next to the main attractive points like cathedral. as it is a building over 500 years old, so no lift but wooden stairs only (but this is the reason i stay here). Shared toilet and bathroom is good (and you can enjoy the cathedral view when you are "relaxing"). ”

“Stayed in a suite, loads of room and everything you needed.”

“We had a 3 night stay for a short break. We had Room 4 which was small and on the A259 so there was traffic noise. If we stayed again, we would ask for a rear bedroom. Also we felt a good mirror above the hand basin in the small en suite was needed. The bed was comfortable, the staff were helpful and friendly and the food was good. The bar area was nice with a few separate areas to sit plus a courtyard area. The hotel was also nicely located if you wanted to take a stroll and eat……

“Our room had a view of the castle, and was pleasantly spacious. The busy road in front, with a narrow pavement, was less ideal. Still well worth the trouble, and it would have been easier had we arrived before dark.”

“I can’t fault this guest house , lots of choice for breakfast and well prepared. Quite location and easy walking distance to Folkestone town centre ”
