“Communications before arriving at the pod was excellent. The pod had absolutely everthing you could need and was very comfortable, clean and modern. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here.”

“We actually got moved to the Norseman Hotel as We felt the approach to the property was not the best as loads of pot holes in the road. The property looked like it had been a nursing home, it needed some landscaping outside we felt the security was not good as the main door which was not signposted was open and the room that we were given was unlocked and the door looked like it had had a letter box which was boarded up. The room was clean and tidy but it looked as if nobody was there to help as……

“Everything was set on arrival. We had a nice stay in a very quiet neighbourhood. Maybe a bit to far if you would not have a car. The house could already do with an update. Especially the kitchen, or rather the equipment. The frying pan for example was really in a horrible state. Some people might like the electricity meter, but I found it a bit creepy, as if we were watched... Another item that clearly needs a change is the mattress. It was way to soft and we could feel the bottom of the bed.……

“Das haus liegt sehr ruhig auf einem Bauernhof. So richtige ländliche idylle kommt aufgrund des steinbruchs direkt neben dem bauernhof aber nicht auf. Die lage ist sehr isoliert und zum nächsten supermarkt ist es schon ein Stück. Dafür hat man die meiste Zeit seine ruhe. Das haus war sauber geputzt. Nur der staubsauger, um selber zwischendrin mal sauber zu machen roch sehr muffelig und der staubbeutel war voll. Der ofen und der herd funktionieren mit gas. Bei uns hat der zünder nicht……

“Great place to stay in Wick, literally a home away from home. Bread, butter, milk and biscuits was a pleasant surprise on arrival. Every amenity you could expect. The apartment was warm, comfortable; the shower piping hot and the wifi signal strong. Plenty of parking space and a short walk to bars and restaurants. Communication excellent and responsive throughout. Highly recommended.”

Be sure to curl up on the couch with a cup of hot chocolate and enjoy your shows!”

“The pod was spacious and cozy! Beautifully made by hand by the owners. The grounds around the pod are gorgeous and serene. If I’d have know how amazing it was I’d have stayed longer than one night!”

“Lovely accommodation equipped with everything plus more. Clean and tidy with modern decor. Lots of extras towels and toiletries, games and TV practically in every room. 4 miles from Tescos and 6 miles from John O'Groats.”

“The Norseman Hotel was well located to the train station, a river walk and city centre. The breakfast was good and the meal service was generally good, though if you’re not with a group, make sure to reserve a table at dinner time.”

“Fantastic staff 5*, fabulous breakfast tv not working - no channels no connection Small room, sofa not comfortable. Good few cobwebs in the room and in the bathroom. No hangers in the bathrooom - no place to hang clothes or towels ! ”
