"This hotel is very near Taichung largest night market; Fengjia. However, staff attitudes were not as friendly as when i stayed there 5 years ago. The pantry area was a little dirty with all the used disposable cups on the floor. "

"The location of Beacon Hotel is wonderful. It is smacked right in the middle of the Feng Jia Night Market. One can easily pop by the area be it in the morning for a quick bite on breakfast or a late-night supper. Amenities wise are alright. One plus point, the shampoo provided by the hotel is one of the best amongst the majority of the hotels of the same price range I've patronised.
