"Was it really a 5-star hotel? Well, how about it was as good as it gets in Barstow. I liked the no-carpet rooms. Something in the building made an odd noise but it only happened once. Seriously no big. I'm assuming the hotel is family owned or management lived onsite which made me feel safe. The front desk person was attentive, and patient/polite to people who phoned while we waited. I would stay there again to support this hotel. A new Starbucks very close (opening soon? or now opened) and another one down the street. Not too far from the highway but far enough not to get noise and pollution from it. Happy and Safe Travels."

"This Motel 6 was very clean and comfortable. It was conveniently located right next to the freeway, but was quiet. This is probably the nicest Motel 6 I have ever stayed in."
