“This was our 2nd time staying here and it was just as good if not better than the 1st time. The location is great! We were there for Memorial weekend so it was a little busy but if you are good with walking parking isnt a big deal. Place is clean, host is awesome and super close to main strip on Balboa. This place is perfect!”

“Our stay were was fine. The king beds were comfy, the unit was comfortable and we had plenty of room for the 5 of us. The extra twins beds are not a full twin length and anyone taller than 64 inches wouldn't want to sleep on it. We didn't love the part of town it was in but never felt unsafe. This particular unit is right on the street and could be noisy at times. “I can’t say enough great things about this rental. It’s brand new, totally stocked with everything you could possibly want for kitchen, beach, relaxing, or family games. 2 minute walk to the beach, parking is easy, easy walk to downtown HB or bike (even has bike locks). Everything was so thoughtful from the welcome goody basket to the books with tons of ideas on what to do and where to go. AC was cold and decks /patios were awesome. Communication with the owner was on point- the gate to the tiny home had been broken prior to my arrival, a repairman was sent immediately to fix the situation. “The place is cozy and worked out just fine. We had some issues getting the door to unlock and no one was answering out calls. Luckily after about 20 minutes it finally worked. We didn’t hear back from the hosts for over an hour and that would have been a long time to be chilling outside. Garage was good for out car.. had a hard time finding the trash bins. Was not just us. Lots of people wandering around trying to figure out where they were. There wasn’t a manual that we could find in the place……

“A little bit of miscommunication at the beginning due to a double booking on this unit. I hadn’t heard from the property manager and it seems like they were unsure of which unit I was in due to a mix up on the booking calendar. . They did respond very timely though and called me directly to upgrade me to the bigger unit in this three unit area. They were apologetic and fair in dealing with us.
