"Overall - enjoyed our stay, but if your group is picky or particular, this place is not for you. Great for an unfussy group of adults or a family with young kids, but this place could use some TLC, refreshing, and deep cleaning. "We loved this property! So spacious and comfortable. Perfect for the six of us. An easy 45 minute drive to Yosemite Valley. Loved the wood burning stove. The kitchen was spacious, the beds were comfy. A late season storm almost snowed us in. The owners’ staff were incredibly helpful and kind. They brought us a snow shovel and even helped find some snow chains for our car. We’re definitely coming back to this house!"

"What a comfortable, lovely cabin! We loved the real batten door. The directions to get there were clear, the location was perfect - away from the hubub, but a pretty drive to the valley. The home was clean, and everything we needed to use for cooking was available. The beds were comfortable, and there was ample seating for our evenings."

"Be prepared to check in with Redwoods Yosemite Management prior to occupying cabin. That wasn't indicated in our VRBO instructions. Luckily, we chose to stop by a nearby management office to use their phone(due to no cell reception), & discovered that was the procedure to check in. Had we arrived 1 hour later, we would have been unaware of the "after hours check in procedures" Otherwise, our accommodations were perfect & would gladly stay again."

"Located inside the park, this quiet cozy cabin was the perfect spot for my husband and I. The place was very clean, bed was comfy, and location was only 15 mins from the valley, while still being away from the crowds. Loved having a little kitchenette as well so we could cook our own meals. Highly recommend to anyone exploring Yosemite!"

"We had a good stay here once we were able to get into the house--the message we received with check-in information provided both the wrong house number and wrong door code. We could not reach the property manager to get the correct code (granted, we arrived at around 11pm and VRBO was able to eventually reach them), but fortunately we guessed the correct code. The wifi also went out completely 2 days into our stay. The house did have everything we needed and proximity to the valley was great."

"We had an issue with finding lots of giant winged ants crawling on the carpet and a couple black beetles as well. Especially when we turned heater on they would appear out of nowhere near the vents making me think they came from the vents. Needs an exterminator visit to spray around the house. It didn’t ruin our stay though! We just killed them when we would see them with paper towels and we only saw them in the day not at night which isn’t a huge issue since we were mostly out on hikes. "The cabin is well equipped and decorated with memorabilia from the 50’s and 60’s. I recognized so much from my youth…my teenage granddaughters were shocked hear me identify people and things they never heard of. Truly a step back in time. We were able to traverse many Yosemite highlights from this location in Wawona from within the NP."
