“Had an amazing time staying here on Memorial Day weekend. Other than some local creeps being bothersome my friends and I had a great time. The one woman who worked the front desk was gave us excellent service. She made us feel welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. I believe her name is Maddie but I’m not sure.”

“I loved it. 138 is the best room BTW make sure you ask for it if you are doing a single with 2 people or yourself. It's right by the front office, low noise, no front window or back door so it's the most private room there! Clean as a whistle and the staff are very hard working and very decent to everyone.”

“This place is excellent! Staff is accommodating, place was clean & not even a 2 minute walk from the boardwalk. The only important thing to mention (especially if you’re traveling with kids like we were) is that there is no microwave in the room. There are fridges though! The place overall was a 9/10 and we would definitely stay again. Thank you to the staff at Sand Pebble Motor Lodge! ”

“I stayed in room 3 and was quite satisfied. I felt VERY SAFE & SECURE. I would stay again without a second thought. Well worth it for the budget-minded. The modestly sized room and bathroom were clean. The A/C & Heater wall unit is huge… A/C can get crazy cold. Recent paint, flooring, fixtures, roll window shade, sink, and furniture appear new. WiFi was acceptable. I much appreciated the compact fridge, microwave, and large TV. I was impressed with the two nightstands. Each had two electric……

“Excellent location, front desk staff go out of their way to make you happy. Has everything you'd need for one of the best prices near boardwalk: Microwave, mini-fridge, nice pool area. I didn't see an elevator for 2nd floor so if you need that write that in the comments when booking. Great location only a few blocks from beach, in the heart of the boardwalk action.”

“We were upgraded to a suite at no additional cost. Staff at the motel were very knowledgeable and friendly. The outside patio was great for relaxing. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. We will be going back. ”

“Excellent value. Inexpensive without compromising cleanliness. Close to South Amboy Station. Pillows needed updating and only 2 provided. Walls are a little thin, but it wasn’t too loud. Definitely recommend this place if you’re on a budget. ”

“We visited for Thanksgiving. The kitchen was well equipped with many extras such as a keurig and a drip coffee maker, K-cups, spices and condiments. The host was gracious and responsive and has clearly tried to think of everything that guests would want or need. The furniture was all good, the mattresses were comfortable and the bedrooms quiet. For a smaller house, it does everything. It worked perfectly for us.”
