"We choose to stay at Jameson Inn Winder despite the horrible reviews. It is a motel so we weren’t expecting much. We were pleasantly surprised to find clean floors throughout the room instead of dirty carpets. The bedding was clean, the toilet flushed and the shower had pressure and hot water. The microwave and mini fridge worked great and were clean. Breakfast is only until 9am but had enough choices and a waffle maker. Staff were nice and helpful. The building is brightly illuminated all...

"I booked this place in JANUARY, I get to the hotel Friday and they can’t find me in their system, tell me they don’t use hotels.com. Haven’t used hotels.com for a while. Their boss said sorry we don’t have anything for you. Luckily it was a pay at the property deal and they didn’t get any money from us. Luckily we went down the street and found a room, attendant told us to be glad we didn’t stay there cause the place is bad news…….. "

"Stayed overnight on way North, was pet friendly, and easy to find at end of long drive.Plenty of room and reasonable price. Floor could have been cleaned better. Being pet friendly , I can see some of the odor but carpet significantly stained."
