“Still a great hotel but things have definitely slipped since my last few visits. Slow check in, bathroom extractor fan not working, partially blocked bath and faulty lights. All small problems but it does point to slipping standards. I’ll give it one more go, based on previous experiences but might have to find another favourite hotel for my trips to Blackpool if things remain the same. ”

“Great place to relax away from the centre and across from the beach, staff are nice and helpful, great location and I recommend going to the Arminian kebab shop and Dunes cafe for food and boss haircuts for a trim, there all a 5 minute walk away. Thanks for a pleasant stay 👍”

“Another nice stay at the Village Blackpool. Warm welcome by the young lady on reception. Nice comfortable room . No drinking glass in the bathroom !!!!!!. Leisure needs a little freshen up Sauna glass door hadn't been cleaned for some time by the looks of it and was the topic of conversation by the locals. Grass needed cut around the outdoor pool or was it no mow May !!!!!. Bar food area was busy. I had booked a table but no table reserved but staff managed to sort one out beside a large party……

“Excellent location just by the South Pier, cooked breakfast in the morning, and really accommodating staff - definitely nice touch. ”

“We were welcomed with a smile, checked in shown our room. The room was compact but had everything we needed our own bathroom unlike many Blackpool guest houses, plenty of tea and coffee. Next time we come to Blackpool we will be trying to book this again Many thanks guys”

“We have stayed many times at this hotel and it has always been pleasant, very clean and cannot fault the staff, apart from one young man serving on the bar on Saturday night whom I asked for a Long Island ice tea, he said no the hot drinks machine is broke ? I said it’s a cocktail? And he replied abruptly I know but we’re not doing them ?apart from that it was lovely. ”

“The St Ives is a really family friendly hotel. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The kids entertainment was very good. If I had one critique it would be that the £9 charge for a kids meal is quite expensive for a two year old. Maybe under 5’s should eat for less? It didn’t spoil our break though. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel. ”
