"Very friendly staff"

"This was the best stay we have had in a hotel in a very long time. We were at The Constance for four nights. May 13th with checkout Friday morning, May 17, 2024. The building is very old, and it had a lot of charm and character. Comfortable front porch with plenty of seating, and tables and chairs for your use. There was also a quaint parlor with chairs, couches, fireplace, and piano to the right of the front desk where we spent a rainy afternoon catching up on our reading. The rooms were very accommodating with updated bathrooms, plenty of closet space, and Roku TV. Our bed was very comfortable with full size pillows. When speaking to the staff, it was like speaking with old friends. They are all personable and make you feel like this is your home. Breakfast at The Constance was excellent. No eggs, but they had everything else. Bagels, muffins, coffee, tea, juice, granola, fresh blueberries and Chobani Yogurt. Everything was there for you to enjoy, just like at home."

"I had never been to Troy/Albany before, and was a bit apprehensive about staying near a major metropolitan area like this, but I was soon put at ease. The location was excellent, parking wasn't any problem at all, and the area was safe. The staff was helpful and accomodated my wife's request to keep her freezer bags in their freezer overnight. I highly recommend the Dinosaur BBQ for dinner--they're right across the street, on the east bank of the Hudson river. Rensselaer University is just a few blocks east. The hot breakfast was good; the automated pancake making machine was amusing, and the custom coffee making machine was great! The wifi internet speed was fast too--I measured at least 10 Mbps. In summary, I enjoyed our stay, and would stay here again."

"Our recent stay at the Hampton Inn in Albany was truly great. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The staff members (specially at the reception) went above and beyond to ensure that we felt good. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. Hotel offer complimentary breakfast as well. The hotel's location was also convenient, providing easy access to local amenities. Everything was within reach. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and look forward to returning in the future."
