“The service at the hotel is amazing! This was our 4th stay and the staff greeted us by name. Our favorite staff members are Yuki, Enrique and Carmen on the entertainment crew and Jorge, a server at the Don Diego restaurant! The breakfast buffet has everything you could ask for!”

“This was a return visit, which means we liked the previous stay, and happy to say that hotel has only improved its services since then. Grounds kept in excellent condition. Staff very courteous and friendly and helpful. Amazing beach and great service. The buffet food is only good for breakfast, stick to beach/pool service during the day and eat a la carte dinner (or better yet, go to Sunset for dinner). We will be back again!”

“We had a good stay. Clean, quiet and very safe with a 24 hour gated entrance. One thing I wish I knew is Grand Solmar and Solmar Resort are two different resorts that are side by side. The photos you see with the infinity pools are the Grand Solmar and that one is triple the price. Solmar resort has one medium size pool and a hot tub. Food and drink prices are very high, even more than what we pay in USA and Canada. We thought how expensive can it be, and ordered it the first day. We paid around……

“The room is clean. A terrace bar right outside my room. Quite convenient if you are lazy to walk out for drinks; you can just grab one at the bar. The noise doesn’t bother much coz the bar closes at 11pm. Good location, easy walks to the marina, shops, restaurants, bars, etc. The air-conditioner is noisy and filter needs to be cleaned though. Considering a hotel room on a budget, this is a very good choice.”

“This was our second time staying here and like the First it was Perfect! Check-In was smooth. The staff at Tomates (Lino,Adelina,Rocio,Mageli & the Chef) are the best! Great Service and very attentive to you. When we arrived (Ivan & Rene) we very helpful as soon as we pulled up. The room was Perfect for the occasion. Beautiful Ocean view and the cleaning staff was Nice & Friendly. Will be back soon! ”

“The only 2 negative issues preventing a 5 rating were as follows. 1. The AC in the separate 3rd BR was not working when we arrived, they did get it taken care of by the end of the 2nd day. Not sure why it wasn't checked before our arrival. 2. The master BR in Our unit had very thin roller blinds so provided lack of privacy to the patio at night and also the spotlights directly across the courtyard were shining directly into the Bedroom all night long. ”
