"Very nice stay! We enjoyed the privacy of the cabin with proximity to Lake Lure. The cabin was perfect for our 3 generations: main floor BR for 89-yr old, plus 32-yr old w/ 2 dogs, and 68-yr old middle. Varying needs and all met! One cautionary comment, and the reason for my one 4 star rating (accuracy of listing) - the fenced dog yard is secure and big, but it's very steep (not apparent in the pic), both the yard itself and the access steps. "This is the third time we've stayed at this charming cabin with our dog. The location is great, a walk to Chimney Rock and a short drive to Asheville. The stone steps would not be good for someone unsure of their footing. The cabin is well laid out so it feels roomy and always spotlessly clean. There are two ample screened porches, front and back, so pup has a lot of room to roam around. Definitely recommend."

"What a great property! Kitchen was very well appointed, which we greatly appreciated. We were travelling with a toddler, so the gated lower level deck worked perfectly for a huge “playpen”. WiFi was great it was a really great touch to have the extra tank of gas for the grill right there. It was a nice quiet neighborhood for our visit. We will be back!"

"The cabin is cozy and comfortable, perfect for a couple. We really enjoyed the large jacuzzi in the bedroom. The cabin is very close to Hwy 64 which makes getting around easy but in exchange there is quite a bit of traffic noise. The traffic noise is the only thing that made me give the “location and neighborhood” 3 start. Also, the steps really need a handrail. "The house is amazing. The view is beautiful. We spent most of our time relaxing, but there are plenty of things to do. The playroom was such an amazing plus and the game room is really nice. The bedrooms are great. We found the Palmetto State Trail and had a nice hike. The house is close enough to the beautiful town of Hendersonville. We took a day trip to Biltmore. The town of Saluda is a great little mountain town to spend some time in. Highly recommend Greenriver BBQ."

"House was decent but there were several items than needed repaired. Coffee table in living room. Microwave handle. Several lights not working. Couch in den was stained all over. Master shower curtain was about 1 ft off the ground leaving an open area and water got in the floor. Outside back porch and garage area had leaves and debris that kept getting tracked in. We had to sweep several times a day. Mailbox was broken so we had a hard time finding the house when we arrived."

"All of the staff that we encountered was helpful and friendly. The room was clean and had plenty of space. We never heard any of the other guests. It's convenient to all things Hendersonville.The breakfast was more than adequate with pastries, cereal, eggs, sausage, hash and other breakfast goodies.
