"It was one of the worst experience. The place was so dreadful, rooms are really bad, no on suite facilities, A/C was not working and the lady did not know when the person will turn up to sort it out, the surroundings looked very unsafe, we were requested to pay the money in cash (no facility for the card service) and even another customer was waiting to take our room if we don't stay. We did not stay there because it was not a hotel at all (may be a hostel for the backpackers)."

"I had booked a tour of Sicily and Malta but wanted to arrive a day early to recover from the flight. I was exhausted from the travel so simply crashed when I got to the hotel. I did do a little walk around in the morning in Catania before checkout time. The hotel is perfectly situated just outside of the historic core of the city but all of the major sights are close by and it is very walkable. "The property has to be considered within the price, which is the lowest I paid in Sicily. For that it is reasonable. The owner is very friendly and helpful. There was parking which I appreciated. But, the place was quite run down - mould and flaking paint etc. No breakfast, and the closest shop you have to walk on a terrifying road with no pavement where you think every car might run you down. But, the price is certainly fair. Best for solo travellers."
