“Rooms are nice. Practical sesk with tea and coffee. Easy to work warm shower. Super breakfast options. Staff are all friendly. Will stay on a regular basis for work.”

“Found the hotel overall pleasant , i stayed one night i didn't have a very good night sleep found the very hard pillow was very uncomfortable, there was two off us staying in the room there was only one bath towel we had to ask for another and one cup . The breakfast was good . Have stayed in this Hotel before a few years back found it excellent feel that this time different because of the hard pillow ”

“Condition of my room was fair , wallpaper that looked like it had been painted over was peeling , Fan in room did not work and picture missing off wall but hooks left in it. Bathroom looked refurbished and nice, staff were nice. Unable to order room service as no one answered the phone , spa did not call me to make an apt. And I was unable to eat in the restaurant on both occasions I tried so I ate in the bar. ”

As customer of the hotel, we can buy £10 worth of coupon at £7.5 and the coupon can be used at nearby restaurant. “I recommend the Black Horse. Very quiet and restful. The main building (pub & restaurant) is quite old and interesting with multiple levels and interior structures. The Garden Area was a delightful area for a pint and dinner, service was friendly as was the check-in. The grounds are sloped creating an inviting green impression. “Great place to stay, comfortable room, pool was great (when no under maintenance) breakfast was fantastic and open early. Evening food was not brilliant for the price, but their is plenty of options else where, also the room could have been cleaner.”

“Overall I had a pleasant overnight, restful night, bed really comfy, room and en suite clean. Room size I had was ok for one person. Good selection of tea/coffee etc plus biscuits. (no hair dryer in the room but I didn't bother go and ask for one). Next days pre packed breakfast was brought to the room, offering various continental and other breakfast type bites plus fesh fruit and a cartoon of fruit juice. “Host Deb was friendly but this did not compensate for a room and house that smelt stale- a mix of dog and cigarette smoke. Keeping the windows open meant lots of noise from the busy road. Shower tray was blocked. Doesn't offer actual breakfast (as advertised) but was offered some toast. Generally poor experience.”
