"We loved staying at the Trailhead by Weekender. Easy getting into the room, wonderful bed, clean and quiet. I loved that there were no spiders or bugs in the room! The only thing I would suggest is to have a lighter blanket available rather than just the heavy comforter - it took us until the second night to figure out the A/C and Heat in the room and the first night I was very warm. I loved the decor and the black ceiling! We'll stay again! Diane Hecht"

"Cabin was tastefully decorated and right up on the pond with some fun watercraft included with our stay. Even with the weather in the low 70s, the pond was lovely for a few swims. Theresa and Chris were friendly and warmly accommodating to a couple of our extra needs. My family is rather picky and we were all talking about returning for more than a couple days next time! Thanks to Theresa and Chris for sharing their carefully curated slice of heaven with us."

"This is a pretty special property. The views are incredible, the home is cozy and well-maintained, and the property is located just 5 minutes from downtown Tupper Lake and 25 minutes to Saranac Lake (we spent time in both)! I fished both full days we were there. I launched from the property with my fishing kayak one day. My wife used one of the provided kayaks one day. The second day I launched about 1.25 miles up the road at a DEC boat launch. We had a great time and I highly recommend."

"My family and I enjoyed our stay here. The location was good, 20 mins or less to Saranac, about 30 or so mins to Lake Placid mirror lake. The house was clean and kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Beds were comfortable, heating was more than adequate. The yard and lake access was fun. Snow was pretty much untouched and the kids loved sledding, playing with their trucks, walking on the frozen lake and trying to make their best snow angels. We had the whole lake to ourselves and it was great to see my kids play in snow. Sam was responsive as a host, there was an issue that popped up randomly with the water and I notified him via the app. He called me and connected me with the caretaker of the house and, the guy was on his way and fixed the issue. Definitely would stay here again whenever we come back to the area."

"Couldn't have asked for anything better! This home is cozy, clean, and more than well-stocked with anything you may need. The owner kept good communication and was very responsive to any questions that we had. I would definitely recommend this home and will look to rent again if we plan another trip to Tupper Lake."
