There was a slight miscommunication about the check-in process, but I believe that was on Vrbo's end as the host quickly mitigated the confusion. “This VRBO was amazing. House was so clean and had everything we needed to enjoy a wonderful snowed in week with friends. We loved the hot tub and pool table. We would go back in a heartbeat. The host was very responsive and was able to resolve an issue we had at check in which we seriously appreciated! The home was located in a perfect spot- away from towns and cities, but only a 4 minute drive from a store for general items and about 20 minutes from the grocery store/ coffee shops. And the view……

“It's a nice cabin, very secluded, a mile drive on a gravel road from town. We were out and about a lot and the drive got to be a bit of a bear. It has some of the usual cabin quirks. It's nicely appointed, but the polyester sheets gave it a definite low-budget feel.”

“Need to let people know that the back "bedroom/office" has no insulation or heat. Thank goodness we did not have to use the room. Need a new shower handle in the master bathroom - very difficult to turn on/off. Beds were very comfortable. Overall was a nice place.”

The views are incredible, the home is cozy and well-maintained, and the property is located just 5 minutes from downtown Tupper Lake and 25 minutes to Saranac Lake (we spent time in both)! I fished both full days we were there. I launched from the property with my fishing kayak one day. My wife used one of the provided kayaks one day. The second day I launched about 1.25 miles up the road at a DEC boat launch. We had a great time and I highly recommend.”

“This place was very clean, comfy beds, nice linens. For a rustic cabin, the interior was very updated with great appliances and all needed kitchen essentials. Ice maker was not working or not hooked up, as such would suggest adding a couple ice cube trays. Multiple heating sources which were great. We preferred the wood stove, and outdoor fire pit very enjoyable. There was plenty of wood provided. This place so close to snowmobile trail, we would love to return in winter season.
