"So close to the beachfront and still private enough to feel like you have the canal to yourself! It’s quite a ways up the beach from Corolla, so be prepared to air down your tires and ride for about 30-40 minutes once you leave the pavement. The home is well-equipped for pretty much any activity you can think of, from cornhole to grilling to lounging in a swing with drink in hand! The kitchen is fully stocked and the outside seating is impeccable, so many options. You can also explore the canal with the paddle boards or pedal boat provided. We loved our time here and can’t wait to come back."

"We loved the house. It's an old property, but very comfortable. It was a lot of house for two people, but it was one of those things. Who did we want to spend a week with. Turned out to be no one. And that was just fine. I have been under a lot of stress since December and this was exactly what I needed. It take a bit to figure out the switches and thermostats, etc. But its just a cool comfortable house. I want to go back next year."

The communication of the exact location and amenities that were available to us, or rather unavailable, was lacking, making the trip a bit stressful as we had to resort to multiple different parties to ask questions. The check out instructions were unclear as well with no way to clarify them. "
