“We really enjoyed the accommodation in Merida for its facilities and also spacious room, and of course the swimming pool. From the casa you can easily travel to the center of Merida and enjoy the activities there. The architecture is great and everything was arranged very good.”

“There is no AC in the main living areas. This is a problem when the temp outside is 100+. We really couldn't enjoy the house because it was too hot to move around. We were confined to the bedrooms. If you are traveling in cooler months this is a great option. The living area is large and nicely decorated. Kitchen is fully equipped. Nice little courtyard with pool and a large 2nd floor patio. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Location is good. Parking available on the street.”

“It was extremely clean , plenty of kitchen utensils and pots and pans. Wi-Fi was excellent. Plenty of water pressure and hot water in the showers,which is hard to find in Mexico. The hosts were wonderful! So accommodating. I am looking forward to returning next year . One of the most relaxing vacations ♥️”

“Amazing, refreshing family holiday! We loved this quiet, private beach front property. Pool was well maintained. Property manager met us on initial check in! Great places to eat within walking distance and there was fruit and vegetables at a local market. Bedrooms (2) comfortable with air conditioner in each room. The locals were helpful and friendly.Would definitely recommend this site if you're looking for a relaxing, private getaway.”

“Our stay in Merida had the bonus of a Beautiful, luxurious home. We felt very relaxed and at home. We felt like we were visiting some of our best friends while staying at your house. From the comfort of the entrance room, stepping on forward into the sitting area around the patio and then the pool ending in the entrance to the kitchen of the house felt very comforting and welcoming. Once we entered the kitchen, the decorations and organization of everything within the living area was beautifully……

“I felt I had found a diamond in the rough. The gate opened to a beautiful pool, in front of the large patio. The house was large and the layout was perfect for us. We have a large family and little children so safety was very important. One bedroom and bathroom on first floor so you didn’t have to climb steps to potty. You walk through the house and a very large patio with a view of the Gulf that is beautiful. Gates and locks were perfect for the children.The host answered any question……

“First, Rena's beachfront property, Casa Del Mar Esmeralda was every bit as beautiful as advertised. And before we even arrived Rena's hospitality was on display, as she answered several questions we had about the area: travel, security, sharks (lol), Cenotes, La Ruinas, etc. Her and her staff were very accommodating from the time we arrived, which included arrangements for my partner Melissa to actually check in a few hours earlier than me. Any questions or concerns we had were answered……

“Only a few blocks walk to great restaurants and shopping, this house was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. Kitchen was well equipped for what we needed but I’d not want to have too many people in the kitchen at one time. Pool stayed cool and refreshing even in high temps (40 C) and lots of comfortable seating was provided. Very quiet at night and the AC worked flawlessly. Would definitely return.”

“Estuvimos nueve días mi esposa y yo, el lugar es muy agradable y confortable, con unas vistas increíbles desde la terraza ya que la propiedad esta frente al mar. Muy buena comunicación en todo momento con el propietario. Solo consideramos que hace falta limpieza más seguido en las áreas comunes y la alberca, al igual que tener cuidado en la limpieza de los blancos de las habitaciones ya que las almohadas no tenían un aroma agradable.”
