We had everything we would need, hair dryer, iron, iron board, condiments in kitchen cupboard etc. location was brilliant, short walk from main city centre. House was clean, spacious and as described and pictured. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking to stay in St Andrews.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Blairbell Cottage! It's a beautiful cottage and perfect for our family of 6. The kids loved the games room with the games, table football and SNES. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub. The kitchen is comprehensively equipped. The wi-fi is very fast and rock solid. The beds are really comfy in every room. The views from the front over the fields and moors is beautiful. We did walks around down to the lochs and around the estate, and spotted wildlife including red squirrels.……

“It was a lovely cottage in a lovely location. I would have given it a 5 star but there was a couple of things that made it a 4 star rating. The postcode doesn’t take you to the location and it would have helped if there had been directions given to let you know that. I had to contact the seller to find out how I get in as well as directions when we got there. No hand towels were provided and there was 5 of us staying who all needed those for after washing our hair. Very bare minimum of things……

“From the owner to the location, we couldn’t have asked for more. The house was well equipped and the owner went above and beyond to throw in some extras. He made our 3 year delay worth it. Fantastic pubs, within feet of property and downtown St. Andrews an easy 5 minute walk. Carrying the golf clubs to the first tee was about the best experience you can have as a golfer. Cheers!!”

“There was nothing to like. The area was dirty, unsafe. The host and VRBO would not reply to us to let us in. We were left without a place to stay at 6 PM at nite and had to drive all the way back to Glasgow for accommodations. Extremely disappointed in Expedia and VRBO for leaving us stranded. Be aware! ”
