The bell team charged our electric vehicle which was very convenient. The breakfast was wonderful with excellent choices. Our spa massages were superb. Golf will be on our agenda next time since the courses look great (we played St Andrews this visit). ”

“The hotel is a wonderful old building that has been lovingly maintained. Our room was fine, everything was clean, tidy and worked and we got what we paid for. The restaurant was excellent. It had grandeur, it was flooded with light, offered views over the Tay, drink and food options were very good and reasonably priced. While there was no car park, one across the road offered reasonable rates and was convenient. The Discovery and V&A are a 5 min walk and are excellent. Why not a 5* rating? Like……

“Last minute booking, but looked forward to pool and spa, but not too be. An extra $20 more! Restaurant closed early. The room was comfortable and quiet. The carpet was well worn.”

“Great really accessible place to stay. Comfortable room, lovey breakfast. The only slight downside were that the single beds (in the twin room) seemed on the small side, they were very narrow and not very long, I am 5ft 9 and my feet were hanging off the end! ”
