The Churchill Hotel near Embassy Row
3.5 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (1468)
"The Churchill was a nice, quiet hotel and I was surprised at what I got for the cost of the room. I'm used to DC, so when I say quiet, it comes wth the caveat that it's on the motorcade route to the VP's residence, so you'll hear those sirens The only thing to be aware of is, the bathroom was tiny. If you need room to move around, I'd recommend letting the hotel know in advance so they can pick the right room for you."

Tabard Inn
3.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (1001)
"Once you accept that this is an old establishment without many upgrades, all is fine. No elevator for its three flights, no coffee in room but an urn bright and early in the lobby, a footed bathtub (with shower) that was a bit high off the ground for my 5’2” and a real key that opened my room. The heat/air worked fine and was quiet. The window opened which I always like. Nice restaurant with live music (piano). Accommodating desk clerks. No resort fee. "
