Bath tub too narrow and hot/cold shower knobs in a bad location. Bathroom window would not open."

Top end and with understandably prices to match. Loved the whole ambience of the place. Only minor complaint is that radiators and fans need cleaned out. They were pretty clogged with dust."

Comfortable room, hot showers, nice big bed, delicious breakfast - try the whiskey porridge! We ate all our lunches and diners at The Auld Smiddy Inn and wish we couldn’t stayed longer!"

"Lovely comfortable and clean rooms. The breakfast was great and the staff were all really friendly, informative and welcoming. Feel it is a little overpriced but Pitlochry itself is pretty pricey. It is a steep walk back up the hill from Pitlochry if you have walking difficulties. We would probably stay again though. "
