“The property is so beautiful. We walked the trails several times a day. Our dogs had a great vacation. They loved the freedom of the place. We heard the flying squirrels and were lucky enough to have one float past the window. Nearby we enjoyed the Grayson Highlands State Park. We did a short hike and got to see some wild ponies. The home is beautifully decorated and you can tell the owner wants you to have a great experience.”

“What a great place! Peaceful and quiet. The cabin was very clean and had all the amenities you could possibly need. Unfortunately it rained all weekend so we couldn’t hang outside by the fire pit but the screened in porch is a nice extension of the home. The hosts reached out to make sure everything was going well and it was. There is a gas station/cafe around the bend and the cafe has really good food, especially for breakfast. The gas station has hunt brothers pizza and that was good as well.……

“The view and scenery is breathtaking. Loved the cabin. Very clean, comfortable and had a welcoming feeling the moment we got there. The hosts were very friendly and and accessible. We're already looking forward to another chance to stay out there next time we're in the mountains.”

“We had a great time, cabin is has a nice view of the forest. Short drive to downtown West Jefferson with restaurants and shopping. The cabin itself is located within close proximity to a couple of other cabins. It was well laid out, with primary bedroom downstairs and loft with twin beds. Two great living spaces and well equipped with televisions. Perfect for a little getaway weekend.”

“It was very quiet and peaceful at night and during the day as well. It was nice to have a dishwasher in a cabin. We drove to Grayson Highlands and hiked 2 different days. We went the 2nd day to see the ponies! The hot tub was very relaxing. It was also nice to sit out on the porch on the rocking chairs. There is another cabin next door but we only had neighbors on 1 night of our 4 night stay. Very relaxing and one of the best cabins we've stayed in. The wifi in cabin was excellent. We……

“Everything was great. Only feedback was mark light switches as to what they operate. Flood light didn’t work at all. Kitchen tools etc were there. Will consider staying here again.”

“For starters, I am not sure who is at fault for the cons between the owners and the Evolve managers. Overall I had a great vacation and a lovely time at the home. It was a great place for two people. Had the cons not been a factor I would definitely stay again! The cons are not meant to be rude, but just some critiques. “Beautiful views and nice amenities. We enjoyed a hot tub sunset looking at the beautiful mountains! It was within 15 minutes of the state park for nice hiking and downtown West Jefferson, which is a very viable small town.”
