"The staff was kind and polite. The room we stayed in on of the bed sheets had black stains. When we first got into the room there was a strong smell of musty and wet paint. Once we turned the air on and opened the door for a little bit the smell was gone. They came and cleaned the room while we were gone but didn't change the stained sheets. Online it states that they have breakfast and there was nothing. They have a large refrigerator in the lobby but is say "staff only". Otherwise our weekend...

"My wife and I with our dog stayed here for our anniversary to take a break from modern life. The interior is very nice, cozy and clean. The outdoor shower was great. Only thing i could critique is that there isnt any well kept grass for the dog to potty. We still managed but if you have a picky pup it may be something to consider."

"The property is located a about a mile off of 290. The house has been updated with nice appliances and is fully furnished. The kitchen has all the conveniences of home. The home has 2 bedrooms, but has another room that could be used for sleeping. There is no laundry room available. The yard is gated and fully fenced in for the little ones. "The Howdy Ranch was everything we needed… From the moment we stepped foot on this property til the time we left it was perfect. The pictures and descriptions are true. The fridge and pantry were stocked with everything we needed and more. We enjoyed fishing, canoeing and exposing our pup to the cattle and deer that visited us each afternoon. Looking forward to visiting again soon."

"This hotel is newly renovated and it's lovely! The new pillowtop beds are very comfortable. It's quiet. The bathroom is large and the towels are good quality. The breakfast has everything, including a waffle maker. Management aew very professional and welcoming. The pool and hot tub are very nice. They also have a gym. It's centrally located. I would most definitely stay there again. Also, the price is right. U prefer the Quality Inn to The Hampton which is overly expensive, old looking & there's no microwave or refrigerator like there is at Quality Inn Bastrop. "
