“Very dated, and in need of a lot of work to refresh the interior. Works being carried out meant plaster and rubbish in the lift and across carpets. This was a shame and that the workman were using the one and only lift. The rooms are large, basic and our bathroom was quite rundown. Broken sink, side of the bath coming away. The sash window cord was broken, so it wouldn’t stay open, so we had to prop it open with a towel. No air con or fan in the room, so it got very warm at night! Beds were……

Good location for the train station 🙂 Liked the pack in the room with the story of Beggar's Bridge, we had a walk down to it after a delicious breakfast and ended up carrying along through the woods. ”
