“We had a great snowy getaway. The cottage and the lake were so peaceful and calm. Just what we needed to unwind before the holidays. Inside had everything we needed from cooking utensils to pots/pans and we were able to try out a local restaurants. The host was very welcoming and answered all of our questions.”

“It is a picturesque cottage with everything perfectly maintained. There was a great view of the lake and excellent lighting; and a forest behind the cottage. Foosball and air hockey tables in basement were great fun as was the hot tub which is on a large deck. Barbecue is conveniently near to sliding doors of cottage on a balcony. Bedrooms are spacious. Secluded, but only a brief drive to top grocery store and conveniences.”

Found" running water" and knew the kids would love it, especially because its water access , and we could use our boat to and from. Dorset is a great little town, everything you will need. Raven lake is clean, well marked out, great for a cruise, or tubing .”

“We had a lovely stay at this cottage with a large group of friends including 6 kids. There was more than enough room for all of us and we were all comfortable. The cottage was clean and had all the amenities listed. The dock area was great for swimming and lounging and had enough room for all of us. There were a few maintenance hiccups with the house (dishwasher stopped working and the water pressure was very low and one bedframe was broken) but other than a bit of maintenance on the house, the……

“We loved the chicken/duck/goose coop down the road. We visited them every day, and the management even brought us some of their eggs on the first day. They also brought us a bundle of firewood to use. We had a campfire both nights. These things were unexpected, and very appreciated :)”

“Such a beautiful cottage nestled on an open waterfront property. Very quiet area gave a sense of peace and tranquility while appreciating nature. The large ceiling to floor windows overlooked the view of the lake and property. The beds were extremely comfortable and the shower was large and clean. The weather was seasonably cold however we stayed toasty warm in the evenings with the large firepit area with plenty of seating. The host was wonderful and very easy to communicate with. Looking……

“This was our first time using VRBO and it was a pleasant experience from start to finish. The property owner was thorough and very responsive. This charming cottage was as described, clean, and had everything we needed to accommodate our stay. We definitely overpacked! But if anything was missed, you had the convenience of a local store walking distance from the property. All members of the family enjoyed their atah. We would love to come back! Thank you!”

“There were nine of us in our family group ranging in age from 4 to 63 years of age. All of us had a fantastic time. Swimming and water play were the highlights. We found the fact that the sun didn’t reach the west facing dock until noon a real plus. Afternoon and evening sun was wonderful. The upstairs area held a family of five easily. Lots of fans (no air conditioning) and beds. The host kindly left special treats for the kids as we had an 8th birthday to celebrate. It was an amazing family……

“We stayed at Mark’s cottage/villa with our adult children and had another awesome holiday. This was our 3rd time renting – first time in the summer. The place is remote, and quiet – excepts for the loons, chipmunks, squirrels and bullfrogs😊 - it was only on the weekend that we heard other people partying on the lake, and even then – they weren’t too rowdy. “Excellent value for the money. The resort has gone out of their way to provide outdoor games canoes, a paddle boat etc. all at no extra charge. Clean and spacious. Our second year here, and we plan to make it an annual trip. Only complaint was the weather. ”
