“We had a wonderful stay in this charming little cottage for our Eclipse Trip (April 8, 2024) The cottage is cozy with an updated bathroom. We appreciated having Netflix and everything to make coffee and tea. The location is perfect. Close to the lakefront, the Niagara River Trail, and to Queen Street with restaurants, shops, etc.”

“We stayed with a group of friends and our kids (6 adults, 4 kids). The cottage was clean and well equipped. It's on the Muskoka river and swimming off the dock was a highlight for everyone. The hosts were responsive and helpful for the few questions we had. The only issue we encountered was that the cottage does not have great water pressure, which was challenging from the perspective of having showers, doing dishes, and getting baths organized for the kids. “My husband and I wanted a little spot to rest while visiting all of the beautiful places around the area. This little place was the perfect size for our needs. It was pretty cold, so we weren't able to enjoy the lovely firepit or the grill outside, but we enjoyed the cozy indoor fireplace and sitting in front of it in the evenings while we unwound from a day of adventure. Would highly recommend this place!”

“The host is clearly trying to sell the property and have no intention of providing any comfort or service to the guests. Seems like they are just milking this property while they try to sell it. Thank god we only stayed one night because any more would have been complete waste of money. 1. No instruction provided what so ever. We had no idea how to turn on the water. All of house spent the first hour figuring out how to turn the water on. 2. No wifi. Yes, there is a portal router but it does……

“Fell in love with this cottage from the moment we arrived. The setting is beautiful. The cottage itself is lovely and well maintained. It was comfortable and welcoming. Bianca was a wonderful host. Throughout the entire process she was available and helpful. Bianca was a pleasure to work with. We hated to leave. We look forward to returning again soon.”

“Wanted to get out of toronto for a few nights before the kids went back to school. Found" running water" and knew the kids would love it, especially because its water access , and we could use our boat to and from. Dorset is a great little town, everything you will need. Raven lake is clean, well marked out, great for a cruise, or tubing .”

“Our dog joined us on our little get-away. Pauline was a great hostess, greeting us upon our arrival and giving Lucy treats, each time she saw her. And, she was anxious to walk Lucy for us when we were out antiquing, shopping or eating. The accommodations were cozy and comfortable. Just the right size for the two of us. It was a little too chilly to sit on the screened porch, but that was quite alright. I'm sure in warmer weather it would have been a delightful space to relax. Pauline's gardens……

“The place was better than we expected when we got there. The property is beautiful and the house is spacious with everything you need. The back deck overlooking the creek and forest really takes you out of the city but with the convenience of being a 5 min walk to stores and restaurants. The host was very responsive and accomodating. We did find the place to be quite cold and the steps going upstairs are very steep. Overall the place is lovely and quiet and we had a lovely stay.”
