We only had one significant complaint - it was unbearably hot upstairs. We couldn't get the thermostat downstairs under 80 degrees, and upstairs felt even hotter. I see comments from other reviews that we should understand "historic home" to mean that the temperature cannot really be controlled, which is...

"We were in town for a Family Reunion. This house was perfect for us, with bedrooms to spare! The pictures online were exactly as is. The kitchen was very well equipped and everything was in working order. We took the Ferry back and forth to the Cincinnati side. Everything was so convenient. Thank you so much, Wanda!"

"Let me just say this rental was way more than we could have expected. There were 9 in our party and we had plenty of room. The kids and young adults loved the downstairs and spent most of their time there. The two bathrooms were adequately stocked with towels and toiletries for us. The host reached out several times during our short two-day stay to make sure we had settled in and to make sure we didn't need anything!! The location was perfect not too far from anything. Quiet neighborhood!!!"

"My wife and I spent a few days in the area to take in some Reds games and see some other attractions in the area and this place was perfect for that! About 25 minute walk to GABP and only 10 minute walk to several great restaurants. Would definitely recommend!!"

"The primary property was very enjoyable & clean. The outside area was not so clean and it is only accessible via an outdoor walk-way/steps between the buildings. Fantastic location and the view from the sun room was tremendous!"

"I came into town to watch my son's team beat up the Bearcats!! Boomer Sooner! My sisters came in from Cleveland (Go Browns) and Chicago and we had a great family weekend!! Spent a lot of time on the porch. Walked to the Zoo. Short drive to UofC. House was perfect for our group and Kris was VERY quick to respond to us. Highly recommend Findlay Market!"

"The house was roomy and in a convenient location for our stay. Close to the highway and easy access to the local towns. Only complaint was there were minimal towels available and 1/2 bath had paper towel dispenser instead of towel bar for a hand towel, which was not the best to dry my face after nighttime washing. The thermostat automatically changed back to 63 every night, so had to keep an eye on that as it was quite chilly when we were there."

"Read the description twice before arriving. Parking is a challenge if you have more than one car. We did find street parking and also a small parking garage. Majority of the home was very clean except for a set of stained sheets on one bed. Also we could not find an iron and looked everywhere. I would still stay here again because of the location. The area is walkable to restaurants, shopping and ice cream! Beautiful and hilly scenery."

"Would love to give a 5 star but have to be honest in my review. The property at the time of my visit had a huge ant problem in both the bathroom and kitchen. I pointed this out directly on the “owners” feedback page but no response or acknowledgment. Other than that it’s a great convenient location. As per other reviews the walls are thin here so no matter how quiet people try to be upstairs you will hear everything. Just hope you and the other occupants are on the same schedule. "
