“We spotted the village from the road above, fishing village down a steep road, cobblestones and cottages. Gorgeous 300 year old pub on the harbour, great atmosphere, comfy bed and room, breakfast the next day was fresh and plentiful and offered with love and care. Really enjoyed it, 20 steos from the harbour so pretty to walk around.”

“Nice and clean, the staff are very friendly and attentive ,if it's not there they will they will get one for you (hair dryer). Breakfast lovely will make you what ever you require. Nice bar where you can order your excellent home cooked evening meal. We recommend the steak pie. Bathroom mirror could have been a little bit lower for my little legs other than that no complaints .”

“Full breakfast included. We stayed a second night because we were so blown away by the beautiful place and the area. The beach is peaceful and a nice easy walk to the remnants ofthe red castle. Elaine is a sweetie and Aiden too and the kitchen staff were also and gave us ideas local places to see. ”

“We had a superb room, top floor, with a brand new updated bathroom, lovely towels. The stairs were steep but in a hotel built in 1765 that was understandable. The entrance was a bit of a surprise but the staff were sincere and hugely accommodating. They are the heart of the business! I look forward to seeing this hotel continue to keep it’s character and continue to work on its check in.”

“In a word, FANTASTIC!! Michelle and David are fabulous hosts at this wonderful B & B which is an operating farm in the most lovely countryside. Very clean, very quiet and the breakfast was superb!! Absolutely delightful! ”

“Super stay with truly amazing views. Whilst a steep walk down to the beach and back from the property it was well worth the effort as a fantastic beach. The fact that we had the beach all to ourselves on the first day was an added bonus. Great walks from the property. Property was very well equipped and Gary a lovely welcoming host. The only reasons for the 4 rating rather than 5 on a couple of the sections was simply due to the limited space in the kitchen / dining area and that you had go……

Being able to walk into the fishing village or drive 15 minutes into town, this house was the perfect location for seeing Scotland sites on the east coast. The kitchen had everything, the house was super clean....it was beautiful!!”

“This B&B is close to main network and easy to find. Absolutely spotless room and the most comfortable bed ever! Very accommodating hostess who cooked me a delicious evening meal and a massive well cooked breakfast, despite my dietary needs (please let her know before you stay and nothing is too much trouble!) I would highly recommend this place for solo travelers as I felt very safe and welcome here. Thank you for a lovely stay.”
