"The motel in a quiet area with a path to walk to a small beach area with a great view. Staff were sweet as can be, check in and out went very smoothly. The porch area around my room door was noticeably buggy and there were several mosquitos that had gotten into my room, but it’s understandable given the proximity to the lake. "The moment we walked in we were greeted by Amber’s cheerful smile. She recommended Jim’s Pizza Box for supper, which was awesome. A few minutes in the hot tub felt wonderful after driving 12 hours. The comfortable bed provided a good night’s sleep. The breakfast didn’t offer things like scrambled eggs or bacon, but it is enough to fill you up."
