“Electric charging cable available and family room with proper single bed and not a sofa bed. Some issues on the night, where some guests couldn’t get into room and was noisy outside the room whilst they tried to sort it oout”
“This pub/restaurant has it all, ambiance, great service varied menu and a great location.
It was perfect way to celebrate my wife's birthday on our way home from a holiday in Scotland.
Had a drink in the sheltered beer garden and a great meal in the restaurant.
Breakfast, which is included is cooked fresh to order.
Only minor issue being the bathroom which was small and could do with modernising. Otherwise 5 stras”
“We celebrated our Golden Wedding at the Coniston Hotel, along with 12 friends. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The service was excellent and the location was superb with views over the lake from all our rooms. All our friends thought the hotel was a perfect venue for our weekend celebration. The Winston' s Barn private dining room was fabulous. ”

“We really enjoyed our one-night stay at the inn. We managed to snag an amazing deal at half the usual rate. Our 2-bedroom room was very clean - only a couple of snags were experienced. The first sleeping area had no bedside lighting and the second had no accessible mains supply! The breakfast included was excellent. The setting for the inn is fantastic - lovely area to walk around.”

Not noticeably busy at all.
Rather dated interior & no food served at the hotel. No breakfast lunches or evening meals despite notices outside saying hotel has a restaurant. It doesn’t.
Nevertheless it offers reasonable comfortable sleeping accommodation and there are cafe’s & restaurants within a short distance. ”
“We loved this property. The location was wonderful and out of the way enough to feel like we were on a nice holiday. The staff was nice and helpful. The pool was delightful. We used the laundry facilities, too. Bed was a bit uncomfortable. ”

“The stay was lovely. Staff were very helpful on arrival and it was very easy to check in.
Only downside was I wish there was an option for a breakfast in the morning. However there was plenty of other options across the road.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Calf’s Head, Clitheroe. We attended a wedding at a venue not far from here, so it was a great location for us. All the staff were helpful and friendly and the downstairs bar/dining was an asset to our stay. We both enjoyed a lovely full English the morning after with the option of fruit, cereals and yoghurts. The outdoor space here is gorgeous so would definitely recommend going here to enjoy it on a nice day.
